I bought a Squire Bass VI after reading about them on this forum. It's great! I'm intending to get a classic vibe telecaster at some point

Great little kick around amp, like a tweed champ...Monoprice, I think it's a Laney clone, was $100 shipped.

I have a CIJ Mascis Jazzmaster since 2007. My main guitar. Played almost all my shows and recordings with it since 2007. 800 EUR was the original price. After ten years with zero problems with the guitar that price is a joke to me...

Re: In praise of cheap gear...
I'm not a real musician so I could never justify buying expensive gear, apart from a few luxury items.
My main guitar is a $300 1982 Greco (before repair bill). My most expensive amp (before repair bill) is a 1970 Sunn Solarus that cost me $200. Apart from a Valve Klipper, Meathead, and a DM-2, I don't think I own a single pedal that cost more than $100.
And I have to say, I absolutely love all my cheap old stuff and seldom want for anything. Hail cheap gear!

There's some cool gear on this thread !
I picked up this Epiphone 339 for £170 and it's a pretty decent guitar. I stuck a gotoh Nashville on it and some 10-52s and it was good to go. Works well with fuzz which is the important thing
