Another life well worth celebrating. He's a big part of some of my all-time favourite movies: "Escape from New York", "The Missouri Breaks", "Cockfighter", "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid", "Two-Lane Blacktop" and "Cool Hand Luke" to name a few. And if you've never seen "Cisco Pike", with Harry Dean, Kris Kristoffersen (as a washed-up rock star blackmailed into selling dope for a crooked cop), Gene Hackman (as the crooked cop) and Doug Sahm (as Doug Fuckin' Sahm!), track it down right now.
