I buy Eveready Heavy Duty in bulk on Amazon. They sound great and look good too w/ that classic shocked black cat.

While we’re talking about it . I don’t buy batteries for guitar pedals . If not recycled properly they just become landfill and that toxic shit just sits in the earth .

A product to get around this problem is the GigRig Virtual battery . An unbelievable product , not cheap but awesome .

Greencells or Hiwatts, whichever come in cheaper.

I don't really see it as a problem. Recycling batteries is easy enough in my neck of woods and I don't see why others wouldn't bother doing it.

I checked their specs and it says the output is 9v, which to me sounds awfully low for old fuzzes. Carbon batteries usually give closer to 10V when new and they're pretty much dead before it reaches 9V.

I'm not a big fan of using batteries but yea...its not very easy to recycle non-rechargeable batteries here in USA as far as I know.

I think there’s recycling battery bins at B&Q here in the UK.
B&Q being a popular common do it yourself store

I buy as cheap as possible.

Battery recycling bins/large tubes in most supermarkets etc up here and they are usually crammed full so a good sign folks are recycling... or staff are lazy af. :hmm: :smashed:
