Isn't It Time For Gear Of The Year 2017?

Post by Zacharia Matilda »

What did it for you this year?

I finally got a chance to try a Shannon Phaser. I was very impressed. Not a knob tweaker's first choice but it sounds fucking great!

And Drybell v.2.

I think the only things I bought this year were a Squier Bass VI and a Staytrem bridge for it. Of the two the Staytrem wins....beautiful piece of hardware that works well and doesnt have the Mastery limitations.

Bout to get a desoldering station before the year is up, though, and i think that'll take the cake.

Probably hated here but the Boss MS-3 is the top of my list. Simplified things immensely for me.

This year has mainly been about amps for me, both from 1963: my Airline 62-9013A and Da Vinci/Magnatone 413. Both great, couldn't be happier. As far as pedals go, the big one would be the Supa MkI jerms made me. Fucking awesome thing. And then there's the Monolith Bug Bear muff, which should be in my hands on Sunday…
