What a great band they were, upper echelon of power pop...DiNizio had such a powerful but smooth voice and wrote some of the catchiest songs, love how they were able to seamlessly take their 60’s influences and meld them into something more modern/unique. Was sorry to hear that he had to deal with some bad health struggles before his passing...will be missed for sure.

Met him once backstage after a smithereens show many years ago. Good guy. He loved the Beatles. Tough one. Really good song writer. Sad to hear this.
