Colorsound Overdriver??

Post by ZaidAli95 »

Are they discontinued? Is there a waiting list? How does one get a hold of them? How do they compare to professional mk II

Its a boost, a very loud boost, so nothing at all like a MkII Tone Bender. very cool overdrive, and you can kill small animals at 5- paces with the pressure.

Macaris still have a few of the Vox wedge cased 9v Power Boosts (same circuit as Overdriver) in stock - I bought one last week and it is a killer pedal. Can do everything from clean boost through crunch to full on fuzz. I can gig with this pedal alone.

Dr. Balls makes a killer 18v overdriver.

They work best when playing at high volume. I've always thought of it more as a gigging pedal.

OVERDRIVERS - sorry its been a while - The cases are being made as we speak . Will be making a bunch of the regular ones asap - there are a couple of variations as well - a master vol version - we made a bunch of germanium ones about a year ago - they sounded very cool to me . Think the finish will be a little different this time round - that deep dimpled hammerite - just doesn't catch the light like the old ones - we'll see !! Yes there are some of the 'wrong case' Power boosts left at Macaris 9v and 18v ones - both really great - both really robust builds - either will run on 9v or 18v if u want a little more headroom - bit big though :) - feel free to email me at the shop - ill be there everyday except Christmas and Boxing Day :) Ant

Great news Ant! I’ll be in to buy an Overdriver as soon as they are released.
