Anyone use Alesis drum machine?

Post by Rygar »

Anyone here use an Alesis SR16? After more than 15 years I think I need some motivation to program more than two bars.

Programming parts that are long enough to not sound repetitive has always seemed miserable.

Had one donkey's years ago but have been using software for the last decade or more. As you say, it's a bit of a chore to program and doesn't give as much assistance as something like Geist2 or Stix

No...why? A real drummer is actually easier to use than that.
