rileymaher from Sydney joined Aug 27, 2008, and started the topic Proud owner of a Tonebender the same day:

My MkII arrived today and i was completely blown away. Not only by the attention to detail with the pedal itself, the insides being meticulously assembled, with some of Davids writing inside as well. But also the packaging and use of recycled paper etc.
The sound blew me away, nails basically any early Led Zeppelin tone, live or studio. sustains for days and makes the Esquire + AC30 sound really thick. It just makes me want to play more and more and make the best possible use of it.
So it's now official, i am a proud ownder of a DAM MkII Tonebender
Thanks Dave!

Pretty sure the actual origin date was the 25th, either which way, 10 years is 10 years.

I just read through that thread. It’s a pity that Graham
doesn’t post anymore. He writes long but eloquent and really well thought out posts. A very intelligent guy in addition to being the pedal lord. Would be nice to hear from some of those guys again
