Scary fires north of LA

I've got a young son working in LA, and what's happening north of the city is tragic and
very scary! I hope none of you guys here are affected!

It is sad to see so many people losing their homes. I can’t imagine what they are doing through.

Yeah, the LA climate and topography reminds me a lot of the east coast of Oz. Everyone is terrified of fires here, but the bush fire brigades do a lot of backburning every year to minimise the damage. These fires just look terrifying.

Welcome to the new abnormal, fire season is now year round in California. The wife and I live 15 minutes from the mountains, far enough away that it isn't ever a danger, but honestly the way things are becoming, I don't know sometimes. Good thing we have a compassionate, understanding, and intelligent leader in charge to help my beautiful state through such tragic times. I speak, of course, of Jerry Brown.
