Raf, there is basically no MSM coverage of the French protests here in the US. Found this twitter feed that has video coverage of what is happening in the streets of France. What amazes me are the large numbers of photographers in the crowds yet there is so little coverage. Take it for what it is. I have no idea if all this is in real time or just the same protest from different angles. What's really happening?

Not sure the exact number of people in streets really matters... Not sure the exact number of morons throwing rocks or whatever really matters... not sure what the TV tells really matters...
What I think is that there is really a major problem growing here : when you start calling people (representing 80%) earning the minimum wage, around 8€ an hour "middle class", your country faces a real crisis. When several millions of working people cannot pay for food or home, in a country like France, there is big big problem.
France hosts 67 million people.
As a reminder :
20% are making more than 2000€/month
10% are make making more than 4000€/month
So, I have no idea how to sort this out, but I really get that people start to believe something is going wrong.
In the meantime, lots of people desperately express their anger on saturdays... 9 in a row.

A test run on how the public and press react to large scale bans of "hate speech" on social media is starting in the US, also.

Just asking...
is the whole content of the information included in this single (in the conditional) headline ?
I mean, is the idea behind the project that simplistic ?

Yes, Raf, I think the public face of this is that simplistic. Who in their right mind would want "foriegn state actors" influencing their decisions? Just like infiltraitors inside the Yellow Jacket protestors. It gives those in power plausible deniability in order to protect "us" from the "bad guys".
Now, how to acompish this and keep plausible deniability in place is much more complicated. This article appeared. I do not know if there is a connection or not. But I do recognize when someone telegraphs a punch.

...I didn't post the links in the first place only because sometimes people react based on where the source of the news comes from before they read the news. Plus, if forum members search for it themselves they can find it and see if other sources support the story or disprove it.
Raf, maybe that headline doesn't really tell the entire context of the story. Over the past couple of years there have been articles written about social media banning accounts based on "hate speech" and views contrary to the views of the people/companies that work at/own those social media platforms. Users argue that those bans are one-sided and not equally applied to all users. Then there is the fake account/bot thoery about AI being used to manipulate what public opinion should be based on creating multiple responses to a social media post. I can provide links to those stories if you'd like.
Basically, one side doesn't like what the other side says about them and that one side owns the social media platforms.
