I got this recently. It's a 50th Anniversary model and is virtually unplayed. The bridge seems crap to me, so I ordered a Staytrem and can't wait to get that on. Otherwise, it's a great feeling/sounding guitar. The neck radius is 9.5", which is a bit thicker than I like, but not a big deal.

I have the same model in Burgundy Mist (also with a Staytrem) - love it!

Staytrem makes a great bridge! Just got one on my Bass VI and I love it.

love my jag. tossed a johnny marr jag bridge on it (very staytrem like) and couldnt be happier. and picked it up on the cheap. had planned on a staytrem but, well, this is close enough.
my jazzmaster has the full mastery setup only because it was already on a loaded body i bought/traded for. that shit's too expensive straight up. i will say it's all fantastic - the trem is crazy good and the bridge adds a lot of sustain and character to the sound. have contemplated swapping it over to the jag for shits but both are set up so nicely i dont want to ruin anything.

really diggin your jag man. big fan of the bound and blocked necks :badlove:
if you're ever in the shit, grab my tit
i like pedals when you know they're on
When I saw you with that lost look on your face saying you had just saw ET, I thought "uh oh, game over" - innerflight

I had Ocean Turquoise AVRI Jaguar from 2003,
sounded great but unfortunately string action was very high and finally sold it.
Tried shim under neck and different bridge setup's but without results, just was
bad example. (Mastery was not created then, people swapped og against Mustang bridges)
Miss its slender shape and special feel, AND best ever tremolo system!
Ebay buy, next time will try before

I snapped a couple of phone pics of my Jaguar this morning to share in this thread. I love everything about this guitar. I could go on and on about it, but I won't. If I remember correctly, the neck stamp is June '65.

I've been using Jazzmasters for about 16 years or so. I always thought, nah, Mustangs don't work for me.. a Jaguar wouldn't either. I was wrong. And now, Jaguars took over...
