Re: Fuzzaround knobs?
Any chance of someone in the UK ordering me a few if you get some for yourself and sending them to the US in a little envelope? Id love to grab some but it would cost me about $50 to get some to the US from the distributor.

Re: Fuzzaround knobs?
Am I the only one not seeing the pictures of the knobs anymore???
Check it:
http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/search/browse ... tid=613926
Last week you could see a photo of each one.
Now this is kinda' hard when I can't see 'em.

Re: Fuzzaround knobs?
The other day I set up some pedals on my pedal board after having them packed in boxes until I moved. The Fuzzaround was one that was pulled out. It was actually the first time it saw any action since receiving it some weeks back. I pulled out some of my Cornish's too. Then I noticed that the Fuzzaround knobs and my Cornish TB-83 Extra Duplex's knobs looked very similar. They may actually be the same. I will have to look more closely though to be absolutely sure.

You have a TB-83 Duplex? I have been looking at one of those for awhile, how about a field report?Sage wrote:... and my Cornish TB-83 Extra Duplex's knobs looked very similar. They may actually be the same. I will have to look more closely though to be absolutely sure.

Re: Fuzzaround knobs?
arggg... had a full response typed up and my logon timed out on me causing me to lose everything.
I hate when that happens.
So... I checked this weekend, and though similar, the knobs are definitely NOT the same.
The Cornish TB-83 Extra Duplex (treble boost)... it's two TB-83 Extra pedals in one enclosure. Each side has it's own on/off switch and boost knob. One can engage each side separately or stack them together for more tonal variety.
I use it in conjunction with a D*A*M Red Rooster, which provides a great boosting range from treble to bass. This pairing offers an even wider sonic pallette.
The nice thing about the TB-83 Extra is that it is vitually noiseless and is not prone to radio interference like some other Treble Boosters.
The Cornish TB-83 Extra Duplex, D*A*M Red Rooster, and Cornish NBM-2 (clean boost/mute/tuner out) provide me all the boosting options that I could ever hope to have with my rig.

nah... believe me I tried that, but it was a "no go".
maybe it works if you're still logged in, but if you get timed out all that appears is the login screen.

Re: Fuzzaround knobs?
yeah I know... I'm at work and have just been typing throughout the morning going back and forth.
I know these perils. I usually do a "cut" of my text in these types of cases (just in case.) I even thought to do so this time but hit submit before doing so.
No worries... it was my own stupidity.

Re: Fuzzaround knobs?
Thanks, Sage. I spoke with Lynda Cornish today about putting in an order for one. I ordered a P2 back in Late February and it delivered today. I was goofing off for a few hours with that one; I love it.
