All the guitar parts on this are by the Meters' Leo Nocentelli, though he's definitely channelling Pops Staples with some of his lines. Subtle trem on some parts, not-so-subtle on others, the result being a near-flawless three minutes of funky trem:

Well all my favourites have already been bloody posted!
Carry on with the Tremolo
But on the topic of Twin Peeks, just seen they are doing another 9 with David Lynch directing and Mark Frost writing them based 25 year after the originalDorisandjess wrote:Tremolo is my favourite effect, just bought a Matchless TV1, I will be watching this thread closely

Is this tremolo on this? I can't even tell, I just know I love it.

Leo Nocentelli again, adding some tasty wah to the equally tasty tremolo. This is the Meters incognito as The Rhine Oaks. Song is "Tampin".

Listening to this right now, possibly the most laid-back album ever made. "Street People" from Bobby Charles' self-titled 1972 album. Pretty sure the trem guitar is Amos Garrett.
