True, but that's a good thing, in my book! I wish they'd stayed with the '66-67 sound much longer.Philip wrote:Call Me Lightning sounds so 1966, kinda dated for 1968.

What is this video? It says 'unavailable" - probably in N. America it's unavailable to watch...Philip wrote:

Wow, talk about a recording sounding older that it is!SilverTightrope wrote:This could be MK1? Takes me right back to my prep school days of yore
I did a little search and found the song was from an LP in 1969!
Tomorrow Is Another Day (1969)
Side One
"Tomorrow Is Another Day"
"I Could Make You Fall in Love"
"Suddenly Things"
"Lulu's Back in Town"
"My World Fell Down"
Side Two
"Our Love Is Slipping Away"
"Floral Dance"
"Lonely Room"
"Willow Tree"
"Graduation Day"
To me, it sounds like a Maestro Fuzz-Tone (FZ-1 or 1A). It sounds less ferocious than a MkI, but i could be wrong. (fuzzy solo at 1:14) Love that type of sound, btw. Just a guess...

Re: Songs with MKI's
It's a B side from 1965. :)
Probably on later album by different line up as filler.
