“We … noticed that Jeff Beck had banjo strings on a couple of his high strings,” the recollection stated. “We also observed that the strings on Jimmy Page’s Epiphone bass were really grungy … even rusty. We were taken aback at the poor condition of strings on all of the guitars as we changed our strings regularly. However, we were amazed at the jaw-dropping sound that they produced with the equipment they had. In those days, even the Yardbirds didn’t have back-up guitars: only one instrument each.”Philip wrote:

hmm - the Donmar Warehouse. This could be the theatre place that Gary Hurst delivered two TBs to the Beatles in 1965 while they were rehearsing, he remembered it as being near Cambridge Circus up the road.Philip wrote:Eagle eyed Jreeves spotted that there are two MKI's.

Handmade, high-impact, great-looking radical queer germanium fuzz. A different approach to 1960s-inspired fuzz pedals, no clones, check them out at https://goodfuzzysounds.com or on YouTube https://tinyurl.com/GFS-YT

This places it after the recording of Think For Yourself though. So maybe that's actually an FZ-1.
