Dunlop Cry Baby Mini Wah: much better than you'd expect!

Post by Laservampire »

For the $100 or so that I paid for this thing, it sounds brilliant!

All I had for years was one of the old US made Vox reissue wahs which was an absolute tone sucker (both on and off!) and this tiny little thing blows it away. True bypass too!

I'm glad that a lot of the big brand effects companies have stepped up their game in recent years, there's no excuse any more for putting out shit products.

Yes I’ve been hearing good reports on these mini wahs. Has anyone tried the 535Q version?

Unfortunately I don’t play enough wah to justify one of Stu’s. I had a Wilson drop in kit in my Vox which sounded much better, but I was surprised to hear how good the Mini is straight out of the box.

Makes for a good “dive bar pedalboard” addition!

It's the size of the thing makes it funny, but I use an amp that looks like a toaster so, hey ho. :smashed: :hihi:

The mini wah is dope, which setting are you guys using? I like the vintage and Low. They also seem to play better with fuzz

Im tempted to get the newer one, would be nice to change the output volume and setting easily
