The Birth of Cool is on Netflix. It was good. I thought it was fairly surface level, but killed time adequately.

Nice one! Think you put me on to Gomorrah as well HB, such a great series if no one has seen itHorseyBoy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:26 amYeah - it's great. I may have even liked it more than the original Narcos.innerflight wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 11:46 pm Ok bumping this thread, need new shit on Netflix, hit me up yo
Has everyone seen Narcos Mexico yet?
In a similar vein (*ahem!*), ZeroZeroZero, from Amazon, is absolutely fantastic. Made by the guys behind Gomorrah and Suburra (including director Stefano Sollima, son of Sergio Sollima), traces a coke shipment all over the world:

Just started it last night, pretty good so far. It's kind of like Steven King's The Long Walk, meets Hunger Games, meets various Black Mirror episodes.Dr Tony Balls wrote: ↑Thu Sep 30, 2021 7:47 pm Yall fuckin' with SQUID GAME?? Same Here.
Man, The Long Walk has influenced so many films and TV shows. Really good book.
