Sorry bro, the lists are closed for the time being. I know the Captain is currently making MKIIs with OC75s & they sound incredible. If I remember correctly, some MKIIs are also currently being made with OC71s & OC82DMs. The Captain also put a couple of MKIIs in the store recently with high gain trannies, I don't remember what they were. Stick around, see what pops up & wait for the lists to open again.

+1
I think OC75 MK2 sound great !! That pedal got me addicted to DAM pedals, along with 1966.

I wish I can get my hands on OC82DAM-ed MK2 . . . :-D
I wish I know how to make custom transisters...

I have no idea what all the spec means,
but I came to the conclusion recently that I have try them all and hear them with my own ears and choose . . .

He's also made some with great success using AC125's which are direct replacements for the OC81D supposedly. I have them in my Glass bender and they smoke. The Captain actually described the AC125 builds as 'High Gain MK II's".

:cthulhu:
I don't know if AC125 's are direct replacement for OC75. AC125ed MK2 is a BEAST compaired to OC75's smoother texture.

yes, AC125 . . they are HOT

It's kb892's....KB, you out there? Can you pop the hood on that old Rooster and check that tranny again?
:headbanger:
Yes, still alive. AC176 though I've got a CV7112 in there right now which is the mil version of the OC140. Seems to have more gain but I haven't actually tested it with anything other than my poor old ears!

ah yeeah! the convertible Roosta!

sorry druckpig, for hi-jacking your thread...

just keep your eyes on this board and ebay and you'll find
a DAM 66 or MKII eventually...Dave Main has high standards
so any transistors he puts in it will kick some serious butt.
