the fuzz pot is dated 11-4. I would have guessed it's from 1965, but who knows...Philip wrote:Yah mean, this was advertised as possibly being John Lennons?jerms wrote:i did.... i had to deal with the devil to get it!!!
Sounds cool! This is from 1965?

Just seems weird that it would predate MKI's. Pep Fuzz's are mentioned in Beat Instrumentals, I haven't looked at those for awhile, but I'm pretty sure it's after the big MKI Tone Bender announcment in September 1965.Electric Warrior wrote:

Great job Jimmy Jerms, I can't tell the difference between the two.
And it's a cool sounding circuit. Nice texture happening there.

What gets me is all the tweaking,

That pot could have sat on a shelf at RS for months before being sold, no?Philip wrote:Just seems weird that it would predate MKI's. Re: Re:
That sure is possible. With the pot codes we can only be sure that it hasn't been made before 11-4.Philip wrote:Just seems weird that it would predate MKI's. Both pedals are based on the earlier Maestro FZ-1, so anything is possible.
