OK with the shaft of the pots facing down the number that i read out to you guys is now "L06" (yeah..)
now, to the other side of the pot, still the same way round, we find a whole new number! 176. way more plausible right?
Yes, now everything makes sense again!
Can you read the code on the other pot, too?
Everything is transitional.

totally missed this post.. my bad. yes, both pots read 176. weird that it's earlier than Stu's? since the production was so short maybe they were built in between the two batches of potentiometers and to Mr Hurst 216 and 176 were all the same :D

anyway i recorded some raw guitar soundbytes of this pedal with my strat's bridge pickup into a clean small tube combo with a bit of tape echo going on as well.
not quite pinstriped or anything but i think it shows off the character of this pedal pretty well!

I wouldn't think too much into it. they're just 4 weeks apart. Dave's Vox MKII has pots that are 5 weeks apart, 266 and 216. 176 is typical for MK1.5s and small board MKII's, though...

Great sounding pedal, btw :crackjam:

uh, i think i had it all the way up, it gets a bit muddy as you turn it down and i prefer the fuzz sound to be sharp and cutting :D
might have been turned down just a hair but i can't remember!
