Yup - very different to your MKII & IV - there's basically 4 different Colorsound boosts now -

Stu's legendary 18v Power Boost (hopefully another batch coming soon )
the standard 9v Power boost
the 9v standard Overdriiver ( I might discontinue this if everyone likes this new one )
and now this Germanium OD

Sounds great, can get a biting and intense fuzzy tone as well as more warm overdrivey sounds. I hate the look of the master volume knob, but it is a very handy addition to the vintage set up. I don't like LED's, but in this instance it doesn't mess with the looks too much.

Mine arrived today when I got home for work. But DAM, my wife is having a girl party and anything that hints of me has been placed out of sight. So, I don't maybe day or 2 before I get to use it, I got work all day tomorrow.

Oh yea, thats right I heard about those, but forgot about them. So did these gals, just some food and a game and drinks. I don't know maybe I should mention that. Still no play time on Ge overdriver, I moved some equipment back out. Maybe tomorrow.
