You can buy the Klon Centaur direct from Bill Finnegan again via eBay.
Under the username klondirectsales, Finnegan will sell the new run direct as he handmakes them.

The starting bid for the first of his new run (pictured above) was $100, but some 27 bids later, Centaur #3888 sold for a staggering $2,026.

If there’s people willing to drop $2000 on a hyped up overdrive that there are countless clones of (including Fredric Effects spot on, cheap as chips clone) then all the more power to them.

At least with old transistors there’s some sort of genuine unobtainium mojo there, I don’t buy all the “magic clipping diode” nonsense.

Whenever I have the klon in my chain with my vintage mk1.5, that old boy sings and soars. If the klon isn’t in the chain that old boy can sing or he can fart. Depends on his mood. But if the klon is in the chain- not even engaged- just in the chain. Then we’re in magic time! Maybe the buffer? I don’t know. But I’m not complaining

Bill Finnegan should be rewarded after he designed the Klon Centaur. I own an original Klon Centaur that had an issue , probably caused by power supply. I spoke to Bill many times and he repaired my Klon Centaur for me for $150. It required a complete new circuit.
The man is a great man and genius designer and his pedal makes everything sound better .
I , for one hope he makes mega bucks .
