Yesterday I went to see Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso Ufo.
What a massive sound!
The most crazy guitarist in the world, with strat, JCM900, Roland Jazz Chorus...Big Muff Triangle, reverbs, a lot of wah and madness!!!
Great rhythm section also, bass and drums were impressive.
Go to see them if they come to your town or near!

Saw Ryan Adams last night at the Enmore in Sydney. First show with a new band, preview of a new album. From the main set I knew one song ("Shakedown on 9th Street" from "Heartbreaker") but really enjoyed the show. Lots of slapback reverb sounds. Lots of chorus/flanger. Sometimes they sounded like a Bakersfield country band. Sometimes they sounded like an 80s pop act. At one point they sounded like fucking Loverboy. Say what you like about Ryan, he pretty much never stands still - always trying something.

Saw Earthless Thursday night here in Pittsburgh. Small room. Sold out. Packed. They were tremendous as expected. Didn't get too far from the bar so I didn't peep any gear. They closed with a pissed off rendition of Communication Breakdown. Friday morning was a real bitch but worth it.
