HEAVY BLANKET - MOON IS

Post by Rygar »

New Heavy Blanket is out and rules Ass!!!

Sounds very Rhino Reinhardt to me, first song maybe Carlos Santana with a Mk1 Tonebender!

New England Heavy Meatal wave!

New Witch soon but I don't know, Kyle is going through a Chester the Molester phase and he won't sing songs he won't write so hopes are sideways on that one

Can you elaborate on Kyle there?

Looking forward to getting stuck into both records.

I liked Kyle's Marc Bolan phase. It'd be cool if he went through a Birmingham Sheet metal factory phase as a 180 from his Mr. California phase but that would be selfish of me to wish.
I really believed there's Witches in Vermont woods. He can't deny those ancient roots. West Coast is not elemental metal. It's thrash, like their 2nd record leans, Paralyzed. Burlington is old and Witchy. But Kyle is a Kitchen Witch and he's making some killer sandwiches. None of my business.

Get new Heavy Blanket MOOn IS on Outer Battery Records. And the pressing is good - I got the purple wax and the CD and the record has plenty of room (only 3 songs a side) and bass sounds great.

Had the Heavy Blanket album on this morning, more melody in the leads than previous records. Really enjoyable.

Not impressed with the new King Tuff stuff.

New King Tuff is "I wouldn't let the new King Tuff babysit my kids if I had kids"
