That was my first thought too

We were expecting the same size box as say a 1966, the classic Dam styling , however got to say I had a big grin on my face when I first unboxed this beauty, the Captain has gone balls out with this first offering.

Gut wise , it follows a similar style to the Dark Flesh

Sounds…..MASSIVE! Seriously high gain at full bore but no one trick pony, there are so many shades of dirtiness to be discovered, highly responsive and dynamic.
One thing to notice (or not) is the lack of background noise, this daemon is so quiet even set to kill

Nah, man. It's not really related to anything per se. There are ideas or themes from the Tone Bender lineage, but nothing in the sense it would be recognizable on a schematic level as being a relative of something or other. It's more of a bastard child than something tweaked or modified.
I'll be sticking up some 'technical' blurb soon enough for those that care to know such things.
