ooo nice picture, the place we rehearse (Magnet studios), has an insame amount of vintage backline including a couple of Simms Watts and Laney heads. I'm gonna give the Supergroup MkI a try tomorrow night actually so the Rooster is definately joining me!

Donovan, what is this beast you speak so quietly of?!

So, how about volume? I built my own Rangemaster clone with CV7003 transistor with a gain of about 100hfe, biased at -7 volts, as recommended. Sounds great, but I would like it to have some more volume. It start distorting (in a nice way) pretty soon now.
Does the RR have some more volume? Another topic about it being pretty clean makes me suspect so.

I love my RR for boosting my Park when playing loud in practice sessions. I find it takes the flubby bass and tightens things up for me.
