I think we're all a wee bit fucked in the head sometimes...1bottlerocket wrote:The picture is becoming more clear everyday, Scot, thrive on sleep deprivation...One of my best friends here in Switzerland is from Scotland, He moved away awhile back, I got a kick out of his humor too.
The Scottish guy who does the late show, Craig Ferguson, used to be really funny -- his stage name was Bing Hitler.
We also gave the world Jerry Sadowitz...and Frankie Boyle...

Re: SuperBee for Teh Hevay?
I finally had a chance to give my Super Bee a really thorough run through with my regular setup today. It went like this:
1990 LP Studio, stock pickups, tuned to B -> Super Bee -> Green 120 & '76 Orange Overdrive 120s running daisy chained into two separate Orange 4x12 cabs. I am a HUGE supporter of Meatheads, but hot damn, does the Super Bee give them a run for their money!! One of the most amazing things to me is how quiet, as in no extraneous noise and feedback) the Super Bee is! At gain and volume levels where the Meatheads would be feeding back, the Super Bee is real quiet. The gain is so saturated but still toothy and defined even up full. Slow riffs on the low B have a great sinister tone. This is much meaner than either Super Bee mode on a standard '66 or my Sola MKII. At first I thought it would basically be a stripped down '66 tuned to Super Bee mode, but don't make that mistake! It is it's own animal to be damn sure. There seems to be a point where I can roll the Super Bee's attack back maybe 1/16th of a turn and it rounds the highs and smoothes the gain all around. Set like that, it does some GREAt Sunn0))) tunes I LOVE this thing!!!
