NKT275 Fuzz Face

New neck for the Blunderbird. Been wanting a maple neck for this build for awhile now. Found this no name strat neck for $40 in a local shop.
Still need to do a little fretwork and will probably cut a new nut for it, but it plays surprisingly well as is.

What's the neck pup in there, blunder? Proper Firebird pups are some of my favourite pickups ever.

Neck pickup is a Roadhouse Kingston, a Supro style single coil. Really great pickup. I was planning on doing a proper Firebird pickup but got such a good deal on this set, I couldn't pass them up. I'll eventually get a Firebird for it though. I can put this set in my other tele.

I haven't shared on here since a long time...

The trick to cut something straight, whatever the tool used, is to clamp (C shaped Vise-Grip or other) a straight edge the long of the line you want to cut. I used a dremmel with mini cutting disks. One side at a time. Then, I adjusted both sides with a file. In case you want to try yourself have in mind the lower screw holes have to be drilled deeper prior to cut then re-tap.

To give credit, John Lyons was the first one I personally saw doing something like that
