PP4 –> PP3 battery adaptor

Hello all,
I have a couple of vintage pedals still with the PP4 battery plug, does anyone know if it is possible to find adaptors to PP3?
I am looking for a while, it seems in the past there were something in the market, but it seems not available anymore.
Just in case, what could be a good workaround to ensure best performance and preserve originality?
