Bridge post relocated. This was the one job that was making me fucking sweat. It had to be perfect to within less than a millimetre due to the tight tolerances between the Badass Bridge and Tonepros Studs. I don’t have access to a drill press right now either.

Awesome work mate. Bridge covers up most of the dowel.

Yeah. Even if the dowel is visible through the final nitro finish, the Leo Quan will hide it.

Sanding done and grain filler applied. Need to leave it overnight and will hopefully get it fine sanded and first coat of sanding sealer on tomorrow.

Colour test on some scrap pine. I’m going to shoot an extra coat of blue and 2 extra coats of tinted clear because I want deeper, more green Finish.

Pelham Blue? That’ll add a bit of class to the rough and tumble attitude of the Junior! :tu:

Yeah, Pelham Blue. 1 more sanding sealer coat and I’ll be ready to spray nitro when we get a couple of days dry enough. Weather forecast isn’t good for the next week or so though. I’ll finish cutting the new nut and do a fret dress while the weather’s damp.
