^ Yours has definitely been re-wired at some point, Spook. Here's a shot of the guts of my 1800, with the colours as indicated by Brook's image above. Also, as Brook mentioned, completely different PCB!

OK, different PCB layout to the one I have, give me a little time to reverse engineer it so I don't post a tutorial on how to break a Dearmond 1800 :tu:

Looking online i found more with "my" colours, so maybe different versions.

Does yours have a date stamp ?
mine says jan 14 1977.

There's a faint date stamp on mine (just above the switch) but I can't make it out. Guessing mine might be an earlier version. It has the same El Rad inductor as a Boomer, very similar board.

....also on my new switch, there are 3 rows of lugs, on the drawing just 2, do i pick 2 rows on the switch an just leave the other one alone ? does it matter witch rows i use on the new switch ?
