i just got a germanium schaller, it has a power jack added
instead of the battery snap, however, the power jack is positive center... Is this "normal"?
It works fine... Just seems weird

Re: Schaller fuzz dc question
Most are centre -ve (that's the Boss standard). The majority (probably) of germanium units are centre +ve as they have PNP transistors whereas silicon transistors tend to be the opposite NPN "polarity." It's a nuisance isn't it :(

I'm thinking about putting the battery snap back to keep it simple :)
little bit scared to fudge it up cause of the positive center thing....
