No, the power switch is the slider.
So far, the fix steps would be;
- Reassemble or replace the battery clip. That rules out the lower hanging wire.
- Solder the other hanging wire (which comes from the slider switch) to the pad I pointed in the photo.
Be sure to at least remove the blown capacitor before. It is not necessary to replace it by now, but later you can do it, the Negative band should be facing outwards the board.

Fuck me you guys are patient -- that did the trick.
Bit of a big volume drop, and the color switch isn't doing much but crackling, but it's working.

This is one fantastic phaser when it's working -- which it is now thanks to you guys. All cleaned up and tweaked to a nice chewy phase shift. Nicer than my Small Stone. The vibrato's pretty tasty too in a My Bloody Valentine kind of way.
It's a bit nutso at high rates -- goes way above anything usable -- but there's a nice almost tremolo choppy phase shift right on the edge too.
