They sound fantastic! Now I really want one

Awesome demo Jim!! Big thanks to Jim for putting this together for me. This pedal needed to be built. They both sound incredible. Thats the kind of raspy gritty fuzz that i love!!!

Re: knight fuzz
Really sounds great, Jim! These came in a kit, right? Cool little circuit. Reminds me a little of the Fuzzstainer.

Re: knight fuzz
yeah a kit from an electronics supplier Allied Radio.... scott bought an unassembled kit... i forgot to take pix of the whole package..... lots of paperwork..... all the parts bagged.... pretty cool!! bart's site says they offered them in a kit in '69, but scott's pots date to '66.... the other two i've seen besides scott's have '69 pot codes, different parts (differently shaped caps and different diodes).... scott's has an extra line of type screened at the bottom on the top of the enclosure too

Re: knight fuzz
Damn that's bad ass. I imagine that's now the best built Knight Fuzz out there.
Jim, what diodes are those in yours?
So I just looked this circuit up and it looks like it bears some similarites to the Fuzzrite. Clipping diodes right at the end seem like they could be fun to mess around with. May have to wire one of these up!
