FZ-1 and a DAM Model AA

Post by redeyeflight »

Here we have a vintage FZ-1 and a DAM Model AA. Obviously not an entirely fair comparison since the AA is an FZ-1a clone but nice to hear it has many of the same attributes as an FZ-1. Signal chain is a gretsch astro jet into the pedals into a mid 60s supro with an oval speaker mic'd with a vintaged md 421 into protools.

Yep, awesome demo, Dan. Would have loved to have thrown in a jerms FZ-1 for shits and giggles, but both pedals sounded ace through that setup.
Oh, and if that Big Cheese is just sitting on the floor doing NOTHING, I'm sure I could find a use for it. :badlove:
