How would a Meathead sound into a Vox AC stye Amp?

I've tried a Meathead into a Fender style amplifier in the past and found in a band setting it got somewhat lost in the mix. Anyone have any experience of how it would sound in a band setting through a Vox AC style amp?

I'm currently trying to decide between a Meathead and Savage Henry but just want to check they would work through an AC15 in a band setting and not dissapear in the mix

my black n gold meathead sounds immense through my AC15 Heritage. A rams head muff sounds incredible too. Can't go wrong with either. But yeah, Meathead going into the EF86 channel sounds great, much better than how it sounds through my Deluxe Reverb.

Cheers,
Xan :)

Meathead's a Fuzz Face if you can believe it. I have three of them, and they're all different, but they all sound pretty good in my '64 AC30. One of em's a tad dark for that amp, but I hit it with a Rooster and it's a nice big crunchy sound.
I'm not overly fond of muff into AC30 though.

Once my AC15 is repaired I'll have to see if I can get hold of a Meathead to give it a go

My M-25 kills into my Dr. Z Mazerati (non EF-86 AC type amp).

Could tell us a little more about the Fuzz Face similarity?

Its a 2 transistor silicon fuzz loosely based on the fuzz face but it dont sound like a fuzz face thats for sure!!
