All this time trying fuzzes, it turns out I needed a Rooster

Post by kristo »

I love this pedal. I always thought fuzz was what I needed for the tone in my head, but the Rooster is it. Fat, crunchy and super responsive to touch, with just an element of fuzz mixed in. This is it!

Get hold of a Sonic Titan and you may think the same thing. It puts a serious smackdown on an amp and throws it into opulent overdrive and crude crunchiness. Add the Rooster to the mix and you are crowing like it's sunrise on your own private island, stocked with hot local babes.(or dudes if you prefer)

+1 on the Titan. It'll send your amp into places it's never been. :cthulhu2:
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

++1 on the Titan, but the Rooster is a superb pedal.

I'm in the same boat as everybody else so far in this thread...

When the question comes up here of what pedal I can't do without, I have a hard time deciding whether I'm going to say my Red Rooster or my Sonic Titan. Those 2 pedals offer so much, they EASILY moved into my favorite pedals of all time positions.

That's one of my favorite things reg'd. the Rooster:
it's like the best low-gain fuzz on the planet (but oh so much more).
What gets me is all the tweaking,
just crank that bitch and be done with it! -- duende

I did have a Titan before but prefer the Rooster's, I can't get enough of these!

Just gotta chime in and add to the Rooster love. I've been using this pedal for so many different tones but my favourite has to be using it with my Deluxe Reverb cranked (with an attenuator), and having the Rooster as a treble boost with the boost at 1 o'clock. Such a great flavour. :drool2:
