Busy, busy, bUSy, BUSY, BuSy!1! ...hence being Mr. Slow Motion in getting the word up and out on these buggers. The ship may have since sailed but 6 x Supa Rooster (3 of each type) went off to Joe's Pedal and to Tommy's Guitar shop. They may still have stock, they may not. Ask and you shall receive, or not.

Mullard OC43

Like an OC44 but with a little more teeth and hair. My personal favourite of the OC4X series. Awesome transistor in this circuit type, ticks all the boxes for vintagey Rangemaster tones. Fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me!!

Mullard OC45

The Nun's Penis addition. Oooooo, how so? Finding high gain OC45's is rare, so is finding a nun's penis. Yep, not the greatest analogy. I have 100's of OC45's and very very very few have acceptable gain levels for this circuit type, and even if they do they are likely fails in the leakage department. So a very select few are money shots. This is them.
A teeny tad tighter sounding than the OC43, and little less background noise which is nice you are goosing an overdriven amp.

So so true about OC45 transistors finding one with high enough gain and the right leaked is like winning the lottery. They look amazing Captain!

Is there any way to know when more of these are slated to go out to dealers (or be sold direct)?

Hello and welcome

Dave will usually put something up in DAM direct, or you could ask there. You could try a WTB ad in the bst thread or if you’re quick there is one on Reverb right now at a good price, no affiliation :tu:

I have one I'd sell if you're interested.
