It's a remix of a track from our new album called "Earl Over Ocracoke" and was done by our good friend and amazing drummer/producer from Seattle: VOX MOD. Nope, I saw that review too. We thought about trying to copywrite/trademark the band name but it's such a common word it's basically impossible. All we can do is trademark our logo...there's actually several bands named gems...even one from Seattle from the 60s...they were a surf rock group..lol.

Just wanted to let Washington state folks know Gems will be around and about on the Puget Sound this and next weekend. Tonight were at the Olympia Ballroom in Oly and tomorrow (Saturday) we're playing in Everett at the Fishermans music festival at 1:45pm at the cannery stage. Seattle folk can come check us out next Saturday the 24th at the nectar in freemont or Memorial Day Monday the 26th at 7:45pm on the EMP stage for the folklife music festival. It'd be rad to see some forum friends faces out and about!!
