A little embarrassed i havent come to this thread earlier being a former ethnomusicology student and all...i heard a Ngozi Family track on the radio a few months ago and filpped out...soo gooood!!! If you guys havent already check out the world psychedelic classics complication from luka bop its the shit!!

^ Never too late to join the party, Dan! Yeah, the Ngozi Family stuff is awesome, especially "My Ancestors" with Chrissy Zebby Tembo. Fuzz on that album just rips and sounds so modern. Same with William Onyeabor. I first heard the "Who is?" compilation, freaked out and then finally got around to the 9 album box set. And they're all ridiculously good - not a bad track on any of them. And even though the guy was a synth genius, all his lines work beautifully on guitar, too.
