Re-worked an old tune for the band to make it betterer and work with two guitars. Rough home demo...

Just catching up on this whole thread over the past 90 mins, min. Damn! This lush stuff, love your tone Philip — and how the Fender VI plays a deeper counterpart and occasional forays into fuzz, there, but tastefully not overdone, if ya know what I mean. The tunes & the vibe are first & foremost - and not overcome by excessive effects. I love hearing bits & pieces of our heroes, like Hank, Jet & Tony, Nokie & Co, John Barry, Morricone, Joe Meek (ok, he was a murderous whack-job, but genius recordings), 🤪 and perhaps, if I might venture to say you guys play with a very deft consistency & unpredictable arrangements of a young Johnny Marr; mostly clean, pure tones and always moody atmospherics to keep the listener on their toes. Rarely do I find new bands where I don’t get restless and want to cue the next tune after 35 seconds. Excellent work, you Moons of Mercury... 🍻
If you struggle baby,
It only tightens up...
