The Atomic Bitchwax - Astronomy Domine
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

http://www.myspace.com/jamulfan
I just stumbled on this. Jamul was the first real rock and roll I listened to. In 1973, my hippy uncle hitch-hiked back to NY from Cali. He left some of his belongings with my mother while he crashed with friends & looked for an apartment. Among his belongings was a small wooden box with a glass panel that was painted in a psychedelic style and a light bulb inside that would illuminate the painting when pluged in, and a copy of Jamul. I'd plug the box in & listen to this album, unfortunatly he forgot to leave the chemicals necessary to complete the experience. When he found a place he took the box back, but I kept the album. It's in pretty bad condition, 6 year olds don't take good care of albums & copies I've seen for sale go for $60. If anyone happens to see it selling for a reasonable price please let me know.
