Funny, I was listening to them earlier today. I'm also about to get a bootleg live Joy Division from 1980, looking forward to it.

i like joy division, and the chameleons..........but i am really not into the mash up of that similar sound that exists today.
It's like if you want to sell records....sound like this...........which equals an over abundance of the same thing being put out.
their is this band "xx" that some folks i know sorta are all giddy about...........
hahahahaa.......the giddy of the month factor !!!

whoa that joy clip made me think of Control.............which reminds me........new DOORS doc should be out !!!!!!
Let's be fucking honest........

She Wants Revenge, I got into them for Tear Me Apart, but this sounds exactly the same. That said, I like it. Maybe this is blasphemous, but I didn't like that clip of Joy Division all that much.

sounds good to me!

I like the video homage to Bauhaus.
Definitely some Sisters of Mercy in there.

This kind of stuff is what a lot of Toronto seems to be in with.
it's a revolving door of skinny jeans and peacoats scenesters and stereotypes and the "in" music........
a lot of bands are going for this sound or the "folk indie pop".........that one makes me shudder.
my comment isn't on these guys D, it's on the sound and the relation to it that i have observed a bit of.

What hit me some time ago while working with a friend.........a girl comes over and talks to us.....so i put some joy division on later in the day, and made some comments or sometheing.....
well it turns out she didn't even know what she was wearing.

I ain't all that keen on Joy Division, but I can't deny the genius that is Decades.
