the seats are just disposed of by the end of Otis' set...They completely win over the Norwegian crowd.

I have that DVD! Cool stuff. Page's style was always very sloppy, play as fast as you can type stuff imo. That, unfortunately, got emulated by a bunch of people. Clapton, again imo, demonstrates how to still have that feel but make it musical. I just say play what you feel and the music you like and what will happen will. Or in Pagey's favorite saying, "Do What Thou Wilt."

Music is still there, one must search a little deeper. I love going to small venues and hearing some great work.....I am 52 nand still do it.
