Got a Sam Ash Fuzzz Boxx clones up for sale. Point to point wired, Mallory caps, Carbon comp resistors, NOS Fairchild transistors. I omitted the tone control and instead went with a diode clipping control. It lets you decrease the buzziness while increasing the output making the pedal more useful as a booster. Its a fun addictive sort of circuit. Its not a gainy/sustainy sort of fuzz sound. More a stingy crunchy buzz texture. Sounds really awesome on neck pickups and chords.
