Add your pedals to Effects Database now!

It's finally possible to submit your new pedals to Effects Database. I'm having a hard time to keep up with the new pedals (2nd kid = huge difference) while doing all the other work for FXDB (a few hours a day: linking audio/video to existing pages, cleaning up search results (from my "research bots"), auction results, programming, server maintenance,...).

You enter the model name, select the type (and kind of modulation if applicable), enter the description, a link to the pedal on your website (if you have any) and pictures (hi-res), I'll do some editing (markup + pictures), link videos and publish.

Your pedals will be on the site a lot sooner and I'll do my best for social media posts as well (reaching quite a lot of people).


I'm also working on forms to add pictures to existing pages + to add info/pictures to the brand pages and I'll also allow volunteers/fans to do the same (for all brands or a group of brands), so if someone wants to help complete the listings for a certain company...

This is cool but you can't add them unless you are the manufacturer? I know not every manufacturer is going to being doing this so it would be cool if we could fill out a form to ourselves to add them?

Yes, that's the last line in my post: I'll also allow volunteers or people who want to do this for certain brands, but I don't want to make it open for everybody as it would be counterproductive for me with spam, bad entries, double entries,...

Awesome! This is a great idea. So many builders out there. I can't imagine trying to keep up.
