I am not schooled enough to know the nuances between the different circuits but it would make sense that a difference in circuit would be cause for MK III, MK IV name change, wouldn't it?

Normally I'd think the same thing Tim, but I think this is the exception to the rule. The difference could even be the name change from Sola Sound to Colorsound.
