With many thx to the Pious one :popesickle:
for his benevolent generosity and Good Samaritan ways,
I am moving the Fuzz Sound along to Richard Groff for his turn on this grand tour.

Great box, it IS everything that has been said here thus far.
It is a true evolution of the Tonebender sound,
where you can hear the pedal's lineage
but still be surprised by a whole new sound experience.

The Fuzz Sound is really big, phat, soft, and textured,
with a graceful EQ that dials into any amp or setup.

While the gain is big and fat like an original Tri-Muff,
it's not unruly like a Muff can be
and is actually very quiet and controllable,
all the while delivering a ripped, torn and fuzzed-out tone.

I have a Script MXR Dist+ that I love
and this pedal is in some vague way a bastard son
born of my old Tri-Muff and Script Dist+.
It has the sneering distortion texture of the Dist+
but also the deep dark tone and velvety groan of the Tri-Muff.

Yet again, another phenomenal job done David!

Just got it. I'll play it this weekend and give a review. Thanks for this Donovan. You're amazingly awesome.

Jammed with Donovan's Fuzz Sound. I need it. It's as smooth as silk. Really nice fuzz. It's more like a awesomeness box than a fuzz box. To call it a fuzz is almost limiting what it does. I love the tones I got out of it. It doesn't cause quite as much chaos I like for chords and such (is that really needed though?), but it has a fabulous lead tone. It's probably the most practical fuzz for all kinds of playing. It has enough edge for chords to sound fuzzed, but not enough to make it unlistenable . It also has a smooth, velvety lead tone. It's lead tone is fuzz, but it deceives you because it is so controllable and perfect that it sounds like someone else is playing. Awesome. :tu:

I'll post some sound clips tomorrow, but they were recorded with a crappy computer mic, so about the best you'll hear is some fun playing. First time I've jammed with a drummer in years. Man it was fun.

Now it's two in the morning and I've got to get up at 7:00. :choke:

Sound Clip:

1st jam is just messing around, Willie The Pimp is the second, and Psychotic Girl is the third. You can pretty much tell when the Fuzz Sound is on. The first jam is all Fuzz Sound, the second and third all click on. Sorry if this is really long, but it was kinda hard editing an hour and a half down that much while still providing decent clips. Also, I'm improvising and feeling my way through most of the stuff i.e. no practice, so be gentle.

The clip was recorded with a crappy mic built into a Mac, so it's pretty crappy. If the clips suck, so be it, but at least I get to put something up.

It's a '63 Gretsch Astro Jet into the Fuzz Sound into a '61 Supro 1624T. It sounded good if you were there. :headbanger:

Settings: Treble 'N Bass at 4 o' clock, Volume at 9, Sustain about 5.

P.S. It's probably really loud. Just set your speakers/headphones low at first to be sure.

wow... noisy clips man... almost blew my ears off with my headphones with the first seconds! eheh.. i had volume at 100%! :errr:

From all the clips I've heard it sure sounds pretty flexible on the tones it can give!!!
That's nice!
