Fuzz Sound volume?

Ok, I started to record some soundclips, I'll upload them tomorrow.

but one thing that catched my attention is the real asymmetric visualisation of the recorded fuzz sound. first part is clean guitar, second part = Da Fuzz Sound

I added a screenshot below.

Is it just me or am I getting paranoid?
