Had an hour or so with the Zee and these two in line....all different beasts but I think the Zee falls inbetween the Sola and 65. It's got the fatness like the Sola combined with that sort of upper midrange aggressiive cut of the 65 in Zee mode, albeit without the mad volume boost that makes your eyes bleed lol. There's more of the lovely zippy sizzle between notes compared with the (2015 batch) 65, but not into the gated madness like the Sola possesses.
Straight out the box and cold there's still plenty gain and sustain at full tilt, I'll need to try it again tomorrow at a more reasonable temperature to see how it reacts....I reckon if it sounds great cold it's going to be awesome when warmed up :party:

Yarp. That there pretty much documents the ancient ones. There were a few copperhead 65s that were auctioned I believe between the OG and the 2015 edition. Before my time though. I think they had the 2G381s in the belly too. Will be interesting to see how Dave continues to evolve his MK1 oeuvre :party:
